Fifth International conference on Nanotechnology in construction in 2013 was held from 23 to 25 March in Cairo. Egypt-Russian University, with the support of the Education Ministry of Egypt and the Russian Ambassador in Egypt organized an annual conference in the Egyptian capital, where delegates from Moscow, Izhevsk, Belgorod, Kazan and other regions of Russia took part. Foreign participants came to the conference from Germany, France, Japan, Sweden, Malaysia, Libya, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and other countries. Сenter staff of SEC "Nanotechnology" took part in the conference with reports about efficiency issues on applications of nanotechnology in construction and results of research in our center.

Director of the NOC NT and rector of the Egyptian-Russian University discussed the education of students in the our center. Mostafa Kamal from company CMB-group showed great interest in our developments about high-strength lightweight concrete.
